Event details

The Resilience Project is offering a new bespoke half-day staff training designed to equip teams with the skills and confidence to support young people—and one another—in navigating the emotional challenges of values-driven work.

  • Created specifically for organisations working in purpose-led sectors, this interactive workshop will cover:
  • Best practice for having supportive conversations about mental health and wellbeing
  • Practical approaches to facilitating activities that help others process and navigate emotions
  • Evidence-informed resilience-building tools for staff
  • Strategies for creating sustainable cultures of care within organisations
  • Inclusive approaches to programme delivery that support diverse needs and experiences

The training is being designed and delivered with climate-aware psychotherapist Parker Bowling, drawing on expertise in emotional resilience, mental health, and the unique pressures faced by people working towards social and environmental change.

We are currently inviting a small number of conservation organisations to be among the first to experience this new workshop and help shape its development. We would be delighted to invite you to join this initial cohort. We anticipate delivering the first sessions this autumn and would love to explore whether this could be a good fit for your team.

Places on this training cost £100 per person.

You may choose between two dates to take part in this workshop: Tuesday 17th November 2026 or Thursday 28th January 2027
