Our Resilience Rucksack workshop is one of our most popular workshop offers – exploring themes of climate anxiety, wellbeing and resilience. And now, we’re giving you the chance to take part for free in this online session!

Learn how to face eco anxiety head-on and leave with tools that will help you to stay grounded, avoid burnout, and keep showing up for the planet.

Delivered by Matt, our Youth Programmes Lead for Europe, you’ll get the chance to virtually connect with other young people experiencing the same climate feelings.

Meet your facilitator

Matt Sowerby (he/him)

Matt Sowerby is a writer, poet, facilitator, and environmental activist, working to find hopeful approaches to living in a climate crisis. He is the winner of the 2024 Nature Chronicles Prize and as a performance poet has earned the titles of 2018 National Youth Slam Champion & 2023 National University Slam Champion.

Matt has performed in the Houses of Parliament & on BBC Radio 3, and his work has been exhibited at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. He is also the Climate Action Lead on the National Trust’s Regional Advisory Group (North England).
