What a year for The Resilience Project! From hosting our first-ever East African Resilience Fellowship, to launching two new community programmes in Europe, and welcoming a new CEO as our beloved founder Katie transitioned into her new role as Executive Director… If there’s one thing 2025 has shown us – we may be small, but we are agile and mighty.
This year hasn’t been without it’s challenges. In January, like many of our friends and peers, we felt the ripple effects of political shifts and funding cuts to climate organisations. The return of Trump’s presidency saw many huge consequences and our funding took a huge hit.
But, true to our name, we activated our resilience. With the support of our incredible community, we were able to pivot our funding and programmes strategy to ensure we could still reach incredible climate changemakers at risk of burnout.
And in spite of all this, we still managed to:
- Reach over 3,000 young people in 2025 through our work
- Host workshops for over 1,000 changemakers
- Continue growing our wonderful community across 23 countries and counting
As the year comes to an end, we want to say a huge thank you for standing by us! Whether you’ve made a donation, offered your skills, or shared our posts on social media – you’re helping us to build a community where care and climate go hand in hand.
Wishing you a restful end to the year and we look forward to reconnecting in 2026.
With love,
Team Resilience Project
