Funding Opportunities
Global Youth Action Fund
A worldwide grant program providing financial and capability building support to young changemakers aged 12 to 19 who are transforming their projects into real impact in their communities.

Young Nature Leaders Grant
Women for Nature have established a $1,000 grant/bursary for a young person (under 30) to develop and implement a project to celebrate the role that nature plays in Canadian culture and identity.

Climate Action Engagement Fund
Part of the #FundingFairerFutures initiative, this is a funding opportunity for small and grassroots organisations who’re working to build inclusive and just climate solutions across Europe and the world.

Awards
The 2026 Slingshot Challenge
Inviting youth ages 13-18 from around the world to submit innovative ideas to inspire a more sustainable future in their communities. Experts will select a small number of projects to receive funding awards of up to $10,000 USD to further their journey.

2026 Brower Youth Award
Earth Island Institute established the Brower Youth Awards for Environmental Leadership to recognize the outstanding leadership efforts of young people. Recipients receive a $3,000 cash prize, a short film co-produced about their work and a funded trip to participate in leadership development activities.

The Nature Chronicles Prize
A biennial, international, English-language literary award for contemporary essay-length non-fiction writing on nature. The winner will receive £10,000 and five runners up £1,000 each. All six winning entries will be published.

The Earth Prize
The Earth Prize is now welcoming applications to fund students aged 13-19 with innovative global project ideas addressing global environmental issues.

Training Opportunities
Climate Resilience Weekender
18-30-year-olds are invited to rest and recuperate; reconnect with the more-than-human and other young adults who care about the climate and polycrisis. With held spaces to process difficult feelings that come with being climate aware, as well as nature connection work and practices to support resilience.

The Hazel M. Johnson Fellowship
This is the perfect opportunity for early career Black women and gender-expansive professionals working in the climate space. These are paid positions offering experience with partner organisations, mentorship and community building. There is also a $5000 stipend.

BeVisioneers Fellowship
A year-long, collaborative learning programme and funding opportunity for young people (aged 16-28) with ideas for climate-focused innovation.
