We’re proud to share that The Resilience Project’s CEO, Angela Huston Gold, has been recognised as Most Influential CEO 2026: Climate Resilience Leadership by CEO Monthly, while The Resilience Project has been named Most Innovative Youth-Led Wellbeing Organisation 2026.

Eleven months ago, Angela stepped into the leadership of The Resilience Project, where she’s since guided our organisation through one of its most transformative seasons yet. From our first ever East Africa Resilience Fellowship, to a bold reimagining of what youth-led governance can look like.

It’s a recognition that reflects not just Angela’s leadership, but the entire community that makes this work possible. The young people, the fellows, the facilitators and everyone who keeps showing up.

At The Resilience Project, we believe that while climate anxiety and burnout are real, so is the power that we hold in community. As a youth-driven organisation, we create spaces of peer support, intergenerational mentoring and emotional resilience, empowering young changemakers to transform concern into courage across the global climate movement.

We also work with purpose-driven organisations to navigate burnout in the workplace – facilitating workshops that support wellbeing, build connection and strengthen resilience. Every workshop is delivered by young climate leaders who have completed our Resilience Fellowship Programme. Each facilitator brings first-hand insight into the inner work needed to sustain long-term, meaningful change.

Our programmes and workshops are backed by research and climate psychology, but the impact is most clearly felt in the words of the people we work with. Participants have described our work as “life-changing”, a reminder that supporting the wellbeing of those working for climate justice is essential to sustaining the movement.

We’re honoured by this recognition and grateful to everyone who continues to be part of our growing community of resilience.
