Young Nature Leaders Grant
Women for Nature have established a $1,000 grant/bursary for a young person (under 30) to develop and implement a project to celebrate the role that nature plays in Canadian culture and identity.

Indigenous Youth & Community Futures Fund
Laid Law Foundation invest in opportunities for Indigenous youth to connect with their land, languages and cultures, and strengthen and deepen their relationships within and across Indigenous communities – supporting the transmission of cultural practices and knowledge to future generations.

Growing Roots Grant
Do you have a transformative idea for how to improve the lives of your community? Roots are awarding grants of up to $10k USD for new and emerging projects and ideas.

Youth Climate Justice Fund
Funding for emerging youth-led climate justice and socio-environmental groups. Eligible groups working at local or national levels are invited to apply for grants of up to USD 20,000 for local groups and USD 40,000 for national groups

Awards
2026 Brower Youth Award
Earth Island Institute established the Brower Youth Awards for Environmental Leadership to recognize the outstanding leadership efforts of young people. Recipients receive a $3,000 cash prize, a short film co-produced about their work and a funded trip to participate in leadership development activities.

Training Opportunities
The Hazel M. Johnson Fellowship
This is the perfect opportunity for early career Black women and gender-expansive professionals working in the climate space. These are paid positions offering experience with partner organisations, mentorship and community building. There is also a $5000 stipend.

Senckenberg Global Fellowships
Senckenberg invites early-career scientists from the Global South to apply for its annual fellowship programme, designed to support global research across disciplines including biodiversity, anthropology and conservation ecology.

Hosting and Facilitating a Climate Cafe Listening Circle
Want to help build emotional resilience in your own community? Learn to host and facilitate a Climate Cafe Listening Circle in this three-session programme, with the Climate Psychology Alliance. Open to all – you do not need a therapeutic background for this training (but it is essential that you have attended a Climate Cafe as a participant before starting).
Sessions begin on the 17 March
The European Parliament’s Sakharov Fellowship
This empowering programme for human rights defenders, offers 14 people selected from non-EU countries the opportunity to follow a two-week intensive training in Brussels and at another location in an EU Member State.
