The Planet Forward Storyfest Awards
Planet Forward are seeking submissions of climate stories. Storyfest is a student contest that highlights climate stories about caring for the Earth and the inspiring experiences driving change. This multimedia competition offers winners a seven-night voyage to Alaska with National Geographic-Lindblad Expedition in August 2027.

The European Patent Office seeks international nominations from young innovators (age 30 and under) creating a more sustainable future for all.

Blue Earth Impact Prize
Applications are open for the BE:IMPACT Prize. Created by Blue Earth with Founding Partner The Kindness Forecast, BE is a new £15,000 prize for small and mid-sized UK charities with powerful campaigns ready to go further. Six finalists will pitch live on the Main Stage at Blue Earth Summit on 14 October, gaining funding, visibility, mentoring and access to new supporters.

A weekend gathering in Lynton, UK, for activists, changemakers, and community builders who are looking for a grounded and connected way to sustain their work. This is an in-person gathering filled with guided practices, music, and community to reshape your relationship to activism.

Inner Climate Response Alliance Community Calls
A monthly call for anyone working with or interested in emotional resilience, ‘inner work’, and care. This is an online gathering to connect, share ideas, and listen to initiatives integrating inner work. Every month showcases a different project that brings care into their activism.

The Hopeful Book Club
The Resilience Project are launching a free online book club for young people in East Africa. Join us read ‘Act, Rest, Reset, Repeat’ by our founder, Katie Hodgetts, and explore how to build resilience through rest, community, connection and celebration through a shared love of reading.

Community Circle
For those working or volunteering in activism, wellbeing, or social justice – The Joyful Activists host an online space to rest and reconnect. Join a monthly, free community circle for guided meditation and open-hearted sharing. It’s an hour to pause, to feel, to be heard, and to remember that we’re not alone in this work.

AU–EU Youth Exchange for Young Refugee & Migrant Artivists (France & Uganda)
Artivism Without Borders is looking for 18-35-year-old artists, creatives and artivists, with a migrant or refugee background, based in Kampala and Île-de-France, France, to take part in a joint participatory arts process. Participants will collaborate as equal partners to co-create artistic works that challenge stereotypes and promote more inclusive narratives around migration, identity and belonging from September 2026 to May 2027, through Artivism Labs combining workshops, peer learning, artistic collaboration, and public showcases.

If you are based in Australia and would like to learn how to host and facilitate Climate Cafés in your local community, Psychology for a Safe Climate are offering a low-cost training package in order to learn how to guide these spaces and bring this transformative work to communities across Australia.

The Young Person’s Guide to Re-Imagining the Economy is a free 3-part series from Doughnut Economics and Climate Youth Resilience — for young people ready to look at where their ideas of “success” actually came from, and imagine what else is possible.

Fellowships
UNESCO/Japan Young Researchers’ Fellowships Programme
This programme, supported by the government of Japan, gives young researchers the opportunity to pursue postgraduate research. This year, 10 fellowships will be granted to highly qualified young researchers from Africa, Small Island Developing States, Ukraine and Türkiye, who work on heritage conservation and management, sustainable development and AI, with particular attention to interdisciplinary research connecting these themes with social, ethical, governance and contextual dimensions.

Climate Policy Fellowship
Participatory Governance Lab and Maadhyam are launching the Climate Policy Fellowship which is a four-month learning and action journey for young people in Delhi interested in climate, public policy, governance and urban issues. An in-person opportunity for 18-30 year olds.

The Starfish have opened applications for a six-month program for youth ages 18 to 25 who want to understand how change happens for the good and build the skills to make it. Green Earth Action Foundation have opened applications for their 2027 global Ambassador Programme. This 6-month, fully funded initiative supports changemakers taking action on environmental and climate challenges in their communities. As an ambassador, you’ll design and lead local projects in one of GEAF’s five thematic areas, receiving support from the GEAF team and other affiliated representatives.

Young European Ambassadors
EU Neighbours East has opened applications for the Young European Ambassadors initiative. This is for youth aged 16 to 26 living in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova or Ukraine. Ambassadors should be interested in EU affairs and their country’s relationship with the EU, and be English speakers. You’ll represent your country’s youth to drive domestic solutions for a better future and contribute to policy dialogue and civic activism.

Sylvester Rewilding are launching their Collaborative Intergenerational Wildflower Campaign across Europe and are looking for regional ambassadors to bring wildflower-powered, blooming biodiversity to their neighbourhoods! Climate Youth Advisory Board
Save the Children are looking for young people aged 12-18 to support their Young People’s Climate Fund grant programme – funding grassroots youth organisations to carry out climate campaigns and projects in London, West Yorkshire and the West Midlands during the summer of 2027.

The Climate Psychology Alliance offers up to three free sessions with a qualified professional. Available to anyone over 18 who is experiencing eco-related distress, including distress arriving from activism, climate-related work or simply the weight of living in an unfolding crisis.
