Bloomberg Green Docs Film Competition
Working on a short documentary about climate change? This is your chance to win $25,000 for a film under 10 minutes, addressing the urgency of climate change. The winner will be announced at the Bloomberg Green Docs Film Festival on 22 September in New York City. The top five documentaries will be shown at the festival.
Submissions are being accepted now through 14 August 2026
Open Call for Digital Artists
Fine Acts are looking for digital illustrations that help shift the conversation around climate change. 20 illustrations will be featured in their new collection on climate resilience and action. Each selected artist will receive a €200 licensing fee. This open call is for digital artists from or based in Creative EU countries.

Young Planet Leader of the Month
If you know someone up to age 22 doing real work for the planet, nominate them (or yourself) to receive; a $1,000 donation from to push their work further, their story shared across social platforms and a place in the Young Planet Leader’s alumni network.

UNESCO invites young people (age 18-30) from across the world to participate in the annual Youth Hackathon, under this year’s theme “Play Your Part: Youth Designing the Future of Media and Information Literacy”.

Training Opportunities
Climate Action Leadership Programme
Apply to participate in the 3rd year of 2050 Climate Group’s award-winning Climate Action Leadership Programme. You must be aged between 18 and 35 years old, based in Scotland (but you do not need to be a permanent resident to take part) and h ave a passion for climate action. No experience required, just an interest.

2026 CPA Climate Resilience Weekender
If you’re aged 18-30 and feeling overwhelmed, or emotionally affected by the climate and wider meta-crisis, this is a funded residential opportunity to rest, recuperate and reconnect with nature – taking place in Derbyshire from 16-18 October.

The UK Gov has just opened applications for young people (aged 16-25) to sit on their new climate and nature panel! Successful applicants with help: provide insight and advice to government on climate and nature policies, support better engagement with young people and amplify youth voices and action across the UK.
